3/8" Barb Female Fuel Line Engine Connector for Honda - Moeller

I purchased a 3/8" female honda fuel line connector. There are two types, one with two round holes, one with one round and one square hole. Reading through the questions listed for the part, the one I ordered should have come with two round holes and this is the part I needed. I received the other connector, one round and one square hole. Called customer service, discussed the problem and was sent another connector. Again the wrong one. Called customer service again. It is obvious that the part number for this connector does not match the description. And I was told by the customer service rep there was a chance the second one would be incorrect. So now I have two that do not fit my engine. Called customer service again. This agent was going to look into the issue with the vendor and call back. I havent heard for 10 days now. If you read the previous reviews this is not a new problem. Years ago the same problem was described. Evidently it is very difficult to determine which part to send? I dont know. But I have paid for a part that does not fit and still have not heard if this problem will be resolved by iboats. It is hard to rate this item because I cant use it. The poor rating reflects being sent the wrong part twice. The quality of the part looks ok.

I need a connector for a 20+ year old Honda 10 hp. The original hose was 1/4" diameter. The new tank needs 3/8". The original connector had two round holes where it clipped to the engine. This new connector has a round hole and a square one. The photo you have is of no help because it doesn't show the holes. Nonetheless, the reviews said this one had two round holes and that's why I bought it. Wrong.

Perfect fit on my 2004 BF50 Honda outboard. Original barb was 1/4" but this year I replaced my fuel line and changed everything to 3/8".

They sent me the wrong fuel connector for my 1997 Honda 50 HP outboard. I think iboats need to ask the consumer what year your outboard is before sending you the wrong part! I gave them a 3 rating only because they had very fast shipping!

Honda does not specify that they made two different connectors so obviously I have the wrong one. the one I purchased has a rectangle lug and the one I need is round.

Had to wait quite a while but they finally sent the right parts even gave and extra one. Good service from Moeller.

This product does not fit older honda motors. Moeller knows about the problem listings but has not corrected it. They claim they would send me the one they think fit. I am still waiting for it.
