You need CC170-- and then the length you will need for your set up.

Steering cables on my boat say SSC72 12 foot this is for a yamaha 115 what would be the replacement cables?

Well the SSC indicates that it's a steering cable and this product is a control cable. However, the new part number is SSC6212 for the correct steering cable.

These cables are sold individually. So if you need to replace two cables, you will need to order two.

Can a longer cable be shortened?
A:
Most just create large loops for outboards to loop around and install into engine to shorten. You can contact a technician or check out our forums for more questions on that. We do offer smaller cables for this control cable as well.

We need to know if the steering is rack and pinion or rotary.

I checked and they are rotary, 2 of them. Can you help me?

We would need to know the year of the engine. T12ft D9 could be a really old steering cable which is no longer made. Our recommendation would be to change the complete steering system.

Are bolth shift and throttle cables the same diameter i need bolth 14ft?

These cables are both shift and throttle cables so they will be same exact diameter. This is the 8 foot one so you will need to get the 14 foot cables.

Will it fit 2006 yamaha sx230 jetboat?

Manufacturer confirms you will need to contact Yamaha directly on that. They are cables only made for Yamaha.

Will these cables fit a 2016 honda control for a 50 hp outboard ? mdl BF50D?

Yes this will work as long as your remote is Honda as well and you will need to confirm length too.
