J/E SPACER 40-75HP OCSP - Solas

Didn't realize that it was a necessary part to my prop, but worked out great!

fit the prop shaft perfectly - it's great to get parts for a 1973 Evinrude that are original manufacturer quality - well done Solas!

Installed new prop on my 79 evinrude 70 hp with new spacer. When tightening the prop nut, the spacer flexes and flattens a bit which I'm sure is intended to dampen vibration of the prop. I would personally recommend changing this item out any time the prop is changed out in the case that it retains it's 'flattened form' when removed. Used the boat 3 times since new prop was installed and the prop is still on and no vibrations so I reckon the spacer is doing what it's supposed to do.
