Johnson Outboard ONLY, 2.5-250HP 2002-2007 Repair Manual 2 & 4 Stroke - Seloc

The Johnson outboard manual covers all the different models. This is both good and bad. I was repairing a 2005 Johnson 40 Hp 2 stroke outboard and finding the specific paragraphs for that engine were tedious. I actually read through many sections other then those for the 40 Hp just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I used the sticky markers to identify in the manual where specific sections I needed were located. I also found that reading sections for other Johnson outboards gave me more insight about how the engines were built. The problem I was specifically working on with the engine was hard starting, If I gave the engine a small shot of either it started immediately, but without the either I could crank it over for minutes and nothing. I did do the maintenance sections on the engine and it still is hard to start. I have purchased other manuals from SELOC, specifically one for my Volvo Penta Duo Prop outdrive for my 25 ft. boat. That manual was excellent and I now have a functional outdrive. Thanks for great manuals. Mike R

This is a simplified manual that helped me repair a unique 2004 salt water special unit. Other manuals are general and not in depth. Next project will be a Yamaha outboard and I will definitely be ordering a manual for it.
