Mallory Plug Wire Set 9-28020

The wires are very nice, and the plug caps fit the spark plugs nicely. Unfortunately who ever put the clips on for the distributor and the coil used too large a size. They can't even be bent small enough to fit the distributor properly. Even after clipping bits off of the copper to try and bend the ends in tighter, they still won't fit... MAYBE wire tie them on to each post... Don't buy them.

The quality of the plug wires is good, however I had to bend the clips for them to stay on the distributor cap and the boots do not cover or attach in any fashion to the distributor cap. These were purchased for a Marine environment, a boat that is in the salt water a lot. Now I need to remove them on probably a monthly basis and clean and apply silicone to the distributor so it does not corrode. This creates another step to take prior to running the boat each time.
