Made of 6061 T6 extruded aluminum alloy and fastened with stainless steel fasteners. It utilizes an all thread stainless steel screw centrally located for uniform lift and positive alignment. The motor bracket moves up and down on the transom bracket by use of rollers matched from aluminum-bronze alloy (same as hydraulic CMC Power-Lift). There is 5" of verticle adjustment, with 5-1/2" set back from transom. Designed to fit any standard motor up thru V-6, 300HP without drilling holes or making modifications. The Power-Lift provides the added convenience of adjusting from the top or the bottom.

Solidly built product, clean, nice design
by Glenn from Havre De Grace, Maryland on May 25, 2015
Product does have a 5 1/2" adjustment but that is actually and upward adjustment if you adjust the plate downward like I did to get the outboard's anti-cavitation plate level with the bottom of the boat, the engine's tilt tube where the Teleflex steering connects isn't accessible. I also would not be able to tile the engine up because the steering linkage bracket would hit transom well after tilting up less than 4".

Easy to use! Very strong.
by Mark from Manteno, Illinois on June 19, 2011
Never used one and have never installed one. Very easy to install. Very heavy duty. Up to 300hp. Test ran it several times to get the right height with my prop. Gained about 6mph on top end and excellent hole shot.

Deosn't work for me
by Stephen from Babylon, New York on May 29, 2011
Hi, My new jack plate is a thing of beauty but my mechanic informs me that I don't have enough clearance to tilt the engine with my hynautic hydraulic steering. He says that every time I needed to tilt the engine I would have to crank the jack plate up to its maximum, then re set it for running. My boat is a 22' Velocity with a 200hp Johnson. Any ideas? I know if anybody is at fault it is me. Is this returnable? The heavy duty shipping box is gone. Should I mount it on my wall as a reminder to look before I leap? Thank you. Steve

I have a 150hp Force w/inline 5 cylinder and a 25" shaft. Will this one work and what do I need with a setback?
A:
This will work for your engine and the manufacturer could not confirm what set back that you would need without the year of the engine. They also stated that if it is older than a 1993 then it might not have the standard hole pattern so you would need to drill some holes yourself.

Q:
I need 5" of vehicle lift on a 2002 Suzuki DF 140 25 " shaft. Does the jack plate provide me with 5" of raise on the adapter plate alone or is that a combination of plate height bolt hole adjustment height on the plate and motor?

I have a Yamaha 175 on the boat transom mounted with a 25" shaft and bought a Yamaha 300 with a 30" shaft and both with Hydrolic steering. Will this raise the 300 up the 5" I need and still allow for me to tilt the motor up with the trim and tilt?
A:
CMC confirms that as long as your motor is 2008 and newer it will work for your 300 HP just fine.

Q:
Can I use this to make a 40hp 20" shaft work on my 25 " transom?
A:
Manufacturer confirms that this will work for your application.
