Purchased it for a passenger that can't swim but likes boating. Small size makes it comfortable and the auto inflate feature gives you piece of mind. Great product!

Item 3200 self inflating life vest. Lot G2y0031 I was happy with the product until it self inflated... It was comfortable to wear while fishing. Then I wore it on a small sailboat and tipped the boat over. The design is such that when it inflates it squeezes the wearer's neck. It needs to allow more room for a person's neck and/or allow adjustment of the distance between the main buoyancy sections running down the chest. I found myself better off taking the thing off than wearing it in the water. Obviously nobody bothered to actually try wearing one and having it self-inflate before this was put on the market. I now recommend that before purchasing any self inflating vest: Manually inflate one VERY FIRM and put it on. If its more annoying than the classic orange life vests, you want something else.
