If you use a kicker and like to fish, get this controller. The ability to push a button to reduce speed to net the fish and push the button to return to your desired speed is unreal! I use the power increase button to make turns when I have more than one pole out. Great device. J

I am very happy with the product I ordered. I works well and is very easy to use. It was shipped very quickly - I ordered it on a Sunday and by the 3rd it had already shipped across the USA and arrived at the Customs Broker warehouse for clearance. Amazing transit time in the USA for shipment. It took longer in Canada for me to receive my order once it was cleared - 11 days which doesn't say much for Canadian Postal service. I think the next time I order an item from this company I'm going to request UPS service as it is more reliable and efficient.

Nice product, but I had issues when it came to shorten the iron rod I couldn't unscrew the "bolt" so I had to bend it more to fit between the motors. Otherwise great product.

OK - first I have to say how AMAZED I am with the speed of shipping!! I ordered this on the 4th and it came on the 6th! Really? From IA to WA in 2 days with standard Priority Mail!?! That is awesome, they must have shipped it like 5min after I placed my order! The bracket works perfect to connect my 70hp Evinrude to my 8hp Mercury kicker. I was able to cut it to length install it in 20min or less and I was taking my time. This item also comes with quick disconnect spring loaded fittings, I almost ordered the set separately but I'm glad I didnt. You just pull the ends back and you can pop the bracket right off, leaving the connector arm on the motors so you can pop it back on in 2 seconds. I can tilt either or both motors fully up with the bracket connected. It turns the kicker with no slop at all and I can crank the main motor lock to lock. I havent gone out on the water yet but I already know it will work perfect. What a great deal. Thanks iBoats - I WILL be back!

Purchased this item to assist in steering of my small 2 HP kicker motor. Super easy to attach the ball joint to the main engine steering arm. Also super easy to connect and disconnect the steering rod, from the steering arms of both engines and this is a great convenience. This thing works just as advertised and is a great asset in helping to steer "small" motors. About the only suggestion I could make would be to increase the size of if to 1/2 inch...3/8 inch, although very adequate for my application has a slight tendency to bend and may not be enough for larger kicker engines. I am very pleasaed with how it works so far...well worth the purchase price in function and ease of use.

I had broken a similar connector (operator error) and was pleased to find these parts (without the connecting rod) available at a fair price. Perfect fit, perfect solution to a needed component when trolling the currents of the Inside Passage.

From the picture, I was expecting the rod to be included...should have read the description more closely! So I bought an aluminum rod at Home Depot, and threaded it myself...works great! Now my trolling motor is attached to my gas outboard, all controlled from the steering console! You get the pair of connectors.

Pontoon boat using 50 hp Yamaha and 9.9hp kicker.. Connecting rod too short to reach, had to improvise to install. connecting rod should be at least 36" rather 24" supplied.

It is exactly what I wanted for my boat fit perfectly just a little bit of bending to make it work absolutely flawless

Good results, well built. Would not hurt manufacturer to put in a couple of longer bolts for normal appllications and help us avoid a trip to our favorite ACE Hardware store.

I was able to order my steering kit through the USPS,and saved half the price of the shipping compared to UPS. The kit works perfect for my application.

Very easy to install and it looks great. I had to shorten the rod almost in half. On my application I did not bend the rod. Wish all changes went this easily

Pricey for what you get

made of good material but would not bolt to my baystar steering cylinder,so was'nt able to use it.
