    Will not let me return
by Brian from Dracut, Massachusetts on June 23, 2017
Product was the wrong product and it was unclear on the description that it needs to be welded on. I needed the bolt on type. What make me more angry is that iboats will not let me return the item. This is nothing but a piece of metal and there is no reason it should not be taken as a return. I'm about to order some more stuff for my boat but if this is not resolved the order will not be from iboats

    T-H Marine replacement skeg
by Dean from Lexington, South Carolina on May 05, 2016
I purchased this to replace a skeg that had been bent broken from hitting a submerged log. Fit was good it was easy to weld. No porosity it the casting like I have seen in other replacement skegs. I'll definitely buy these again.

    wrong part
by Todd from Houma, Louisiana on January 06, 2013
I ordered this part and it is the wrong kinda from what the description says. The angle on it is incorrect compared to my lower unit. I should try to return it for the correct one. thanks, Todd

    Too Short
by Tobie from Erath, Louisiana on January 06, 2013
This replacement skeg is much shorter than the original on my Mercury. So now this skeg will not fit right or will have to be shorter than the original.

    Skeg Replacement
by Frank from Kansas City, Missouri on September 16, 2011
I have broken 2 skegs this year , first repair was $250.00 , second one they wanted $275.00. I purchased this skeg , and ground down the old one , drilled three holes in the old skeg and this new skeg and attached it in no time at all. Boat steers great , my prop is protected and I am so pleased with this purchase. The entire installation took about 25 minutes. Thanks Iboats , you guys are the best. Flowconpc
