Missing parts
by Allen from Winchester, Virginia on July 13, 2015
I would have given a better rating, but if you're gonna include a water hose in the kit, you should include all the parts for a proper Installion like the barbed inserts to hold the hose in the gimble. Not sure why you wouldn't include these NECESSARY parts. They are penny's compared to everything else.

Good quality but needs instructions
by Keith from Oak Ridge, Tennessee on July 15, 2013
This transom seal kit is very good quality. Delivery was prompt and every thing was just as it was advertised. Not having installed a seal kit before presented some challenges since there were no instructions with the kit. (1) The grease hole in the gimbal bearing is 180 degrees from the indicator mark. One would assume the indicator mark would indicate where the grease hole is so you could line it up with the grease passage. No big deal but it could cause someone to install it 180 degrees out of position. (2) I fought with the u-joint bellows insert ring for several hours trying to get it in. After much research on the Internet, I finally realized the bellows must be two (2) notches inside the bell house. I had it in the first notch of the bellows and it was impossible to get the ring (insert) installed. A simple instruction note would have saved me several hours of frustration and the urge to kill the person that designed the bellows, insert, and the installation tool.
