King Plastic’s polymer sheet are designed to look beautiful and stand up to a lifetime of harsh weather and cleaning. It is easy to fabricate and maintain but there are a few simple guidelines that will help you get the most from our products.

Please make sure to follow all manufacturers suggested precautions and instructions. For resistant stains, apply bleach and allow it to soak in. Toluene may also be used. Use citrus cleaner, alcohol or mineral spirits to remove grease or oil stains. Power washing and common detergents can be used for routine cleaning. Nylon scrub pads and brushes should be used with care because excessive force can mar the finish. Automotive silicone spray products, vinyl cleaners or household furniture polish can help hide scratches in the surface.

To prevent slipping, do not use these products on walking surfaces. Keep away from teak oil and other products that can stain the finish. Use china markers or water-based markers to draw patterns. Pen marks can usually be removed with household cleaners. If marked with a permanent marker, clean as soon as possible. The longer the permanent marker is left on the surface the greater chance of a “ghost” mark being left behind. Don’t mark with a pencil. Graphite gets into the surface and is difficult to remove.

Keep away from heat sources that exceed 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure all surfaces are free of debris before laying material on top of it to prevent scratches. Sliding a sheet on the surface of another sheet can also result in scratches. Finally, store the sheet flat. Do not lean it against a wall or place it in an unsupported location. If you have any questions, please contact your distributor or King Plastic. Thanks for watching.
