1st. Five hr energy drink was broken onto starter starter was the wrong one traded it to a dealer for the correct one to get ip and running.

Piece of junk

I bought this starter last June. It is now March and I tried to start my boat and it wouldn't start. I took apart this starter and it completely rusted and the contact welds broke off. My original starter lasted 13 years. I am completely dissatisfied!!!!!!

Missing parts

Starter Box looked like it was opened and the bolts removed. Now if the bolts are replaced I will have to wait another week.

I was not certain that this was the right starter for my boat, so I called iboats. They were very helpful and even checked with the manufacturer to make sure it was compatible. I've installed it and it works perfectly. Thank you!
