The T-H Marine Pro Hi Jacker Jacking Plate is designed to maximize your outboard’s performance and ease its operation. This manual jack plate allows you to adjust the motor’s height with just a turn of the bolt. Featuring a single-piece design, this jack plate supports stern brackets and covers. It also features unique locking bars that allow you to conveniently adjust side locking bolts from the outside with just a push.

these jack plates are a wise purchase if jack plate is needed for your boat. I bought one and was impressed with how well its made. being an enginner and qualified machinist myself I know what I am looking at in designs of this sort. and this is a well designed and precision piece thats fabricated with utmost craftmanship. I also had to contact the mfg with a question about mounting and these folk bend over backwards to help you out. highly recommended

No, you have no reason to be concerned about the setback. It is made for these accommodations.

This jack plate weighs approximately 28.5 pounds.

How do you determine which jack plate best fits your outboard and boat?
A:
Jack plates are dependent on the boat. Some boats won't even allow for a jack plate so you will want to make sure on that. We would recommend contacting TH Marine or a local dealer for consultation on how much set back is best. This is not official information as each boat is different, but to give an idea, a 16-19 foot boats can use a 6 inch set back, 19-20 can handle 8 inch set back. Boats larger than 20 feet use 10 inch.

There are many factors that determine what jack plate you need. It is best to contact your boat manufacturer for suggestions. Set back is key to getting proper performance.
