Attwood Deck Fill Replacement Cap (Attwood Marine)

I wished the product had fit my boat because it was much nicer than the one I found at my local marina, but iBoats was extremely easy to work with on the return. I will be back!

Needed a replacement for the fuel fill cap chain on my 1999 Sea Ray Sundancer. As far as I know you can't just order the chain so I ordered the cap with chain. What I didn't know was they she has two different sizes of fill cap. This one the 66061-3 is the cap for the poop tank. 66074-3 is the replacement for the water fill and fuel fill tanks and is slightly smaller. So I ordered the 66074-3 which is the smaller one and it fits the water fill and fuel tanks. Now I have spares for each size. I hope this helps since Attwood lists each of these as 1 1/2 caps.

I recently acquired a new to me 1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 290. I noticed that the fuel fill retainer chain was missing the first time I filled her with fuel. I looked for the replacement but I could not find a cross reference to the Sea Ray part number. I later found out that my boat has two different sizes of cap. The fuel fill and water fill use an Attwood 66074-3. The poop tank pump out uses this one which is the 66061-3. I now have a spare for each size. It's tricky because both these caps are listed as 1.5 inch but the 66074-3 is about a 1/4 inch smaller than the 66061-3. It would be nice if you could just order the chain and bolt (screw) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I requested when ordering that I would need the key if it wasn't included. When the cap didn't fit I requested to purchase the correct base for this cap the key I was told I needed the part numbers. I found them elsewhere.

I own a 2004 Tropi-cal Motorhome. The diesel fill cap is the same as used on boats. This cap worked perfectly. I searched and searched in motorhome parts and supplies with no luck. National the motorhome manufacturer is no longer in business. Thanks for a great product.

These are excellent quality caps. Unfortunately they did not fit on my boat's gas fills, and had to return them.
