Sierra part # 18-0104 Exhaust elbow gaskets

These gaskets are made from a non-asbestos fiber blend, created just for hi-temperature environments of 500 degrees Fahrenheit or more. When moisture and other marine elements become an issue, Sierra has provided a dependable gasket compound to provide a quality seal that will help it last much longer.

When you begin to prepare the elbow gasket, be certain to thoroughly clean and remove the entire old gasket. Doing so will ensure that the life of the gasket will be extended, and not result in a premature failure, causing more frustration, expense, and possible damage.

The exhaust elbow gasket comes as a complete set with precise CAD cut gasket to eliminate hand cutting or trimming for proper alignment. Typical thickness for these products can range up to 1/16". It is recommended during installation to clean both surfaces and apply a thin layer of high-temperature silicone sealer on the sides to ensure the ultimate seal.
