I’m Dillon Cummings, I was brought up racing jet skis and quads. At age 16, I found my passion with the extreme sport that competes all over the world – Sprint Boat Racing.
With the help of my family and crew, I drive a 13 foot sprint boat with 800 Horse of jet-driven, going from 0 to 90.3 seconds. Champion products helped me accomplish this.
Teri Cummings:
I’m Teri Cummings, I’m his mom and his navigator. I helped him get through the 30-40 hairpin turns.
Dillon:
It’s hard to explain the adrenalin you feel when pulling horizontal G’s in the corners. We have so much desire and determination to succeed. We can’t see doing anything else.
I might be on the boat at many times, my proudest moment was being the youngest driver at age 18, to win a National Championship. Besides the talent occurred, to be a champion, you have to have a positive attitude.
Teri:
Drive to be the best.
Dillon:
Give a hundred percent in everything you do, whether working long hours on the boat or trying to squeeze out a little more Horsepower in between rounds.
To keep my motor in top shape, I depend on Champion products to win races. I need that bolt of lightning from my 15:1 compression ratio for my motor. That’s why I rely on Champion Spark Plugs to give me that spark.
Next year, we are proud to compete with three other countries. With the Champion sponsorship opportunity, I will be a top contender for the 2014 World Championship for boat racing.
