It will depend on the engine manufacturer as well. If you can provide that along with a serial/model number, we will take a look for you.

Cant i just buy a alternator for a ford ranger with 2.3liter engine?
A:
Well we have no way of matching it up by car as we can only match it up by marine application. The engines this replaces is marine grade.
Q:
I have a indmar 2010 MAlibu LCR vortec engine, in need a new alternator, i think the standard is a 70 amp but i need a 90 amp because I have added more sound amplifiers and the currnt one doesnt seem to charge enough?
A:
You will have to check with a local marina on that. We do not have a 90 amp alternator for Pleasurecraft Marine. We carry some for Mercruiser and Volvo Penta, but we will need to cross reference OEM number.
