Screwing on a filter to the head unit is done by a male central post with a common filter canister to threads that have a size 11/16"-16 UNC to work with multiple outboard engine companies such as, but not limited to: Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and others such as Racor.

The filtration media is 10 micron and manufactured from hardwood pulp.

Filter effectiveness for performance is increased by total content of paper medium is done by pleating a larger quantity of surface area in the container. If the medium is stretched out for an overall length of the filter media measurement around 1880 ~ 1925sq.cm the fuel must pass through an increased area of filtration.

It works with 2 or 4 cycle engines and will not separate oil from gas.

Fuel flow is approximately over 80 gallons per hour (gph) capable of supplying some of the larger horsepower outboard engine.

It is recommended that if you have multiple engines that one filtration kit be used on each engine.

Designed for suction side of outboard engine pump.

Do not use with diesel or inboard engines .

External steel shell of filter is powder coated

Each replacement canister are epoxy coated internally as not to contribute to rusting when exposed to water from fuel.

Buna-N gasket seal is used on the canister seal. For proper sealing and installation it is recommended a thin coat of oil be used when hand tightening during installation.

It is always a good idea to carry a spare as a replacement.

Leak test and visually inspect before each use.
