Yamaha Outboard Impellers

There wasnt an impeller for my 8 hp mariner around for 50 miles! I bought this one from iboats and showed up on my doorstep in 4 days instead of 9! It works great!

Mechanic said it would take an hour and a halp to install, but it was done in less than an hour with no problems. It fit just perfectly and you can't put it on wrong.

impeller works great so fare. No problems yet.

the impeller sent to me was defective. It was split at the key slot and opened up every time the shaft revolved and did not turn the impeller. Did not find this out until I drove to the lake and put the boat in the water some 20 miles away from my home. Had to drive back and tear the lower unit apart again, then discovered the condition above. Luckily I had 2 impellers shipped to me since the first one was shipped to the wrong address. The impeller I used had excess rubber on the bore and I had to scrape this away to be able to get the impeller down the shaft. After all this, I got the motor back together and was successful getting the impeller to work.
