Q:
Hi my attawood number is SL14-60-1 socket ends I cant seem to find this one is there a new replacemnet number?
A:
SL14-60-5 is the one you need. It is the same model, the "-5" just indicates the packaging.
Q:
Question concerns a Crownline 202 motor hood gas springs. I think the length is 20" but not sure of the output . The boat now has 30# but those springs won't hold the hood up.?
A:
We do not have original information. There should be a part number on the original to have extended and compressed lengths. If you need to go up in PSI that is fine, but Attwood says that the equation to calculate that is extremely complicated. They suggest going to a local marina to get help on which shocks you need if you are unsure of the output needed.
Q:
I need to replace a gas spring with the numbers: 3568MG 0190N 100/00 SL-29-40. Is this available?
A:
The SL29-40 is the part number and we offer that, it is part number SL29-40-1.
Q:
Do you sell the mounts also?
A:
We will email you a list with the mounts because there are several options.
Q:
I have a 1995 Stingray 556zp and the spring lifts are shot. It says the SL-34-20 Which spring lifts should we order and which mounting brackets should be get for them as well.?
A:
SL34-20-5 is what you will need. Mounting brackets have many options, so we cannot narrow it down to your specific application.
Q:
I need to replace a pair of SL34-40-1 lifts. Is this SL34-40-5 compatible? Same ball socket size on ends?
A:
The "-1" and "-5" just indicate packaging, nothing more with the gas springs. It's the same gas spring.
Q:
Do you make a gas spring for a very light electronics box for a t top? Only weighs about 2 pounds?
A:
We only make gas springs in this type. You will need to know the compressed and extended length needed along with the PSI count you need. Since you don't have original springs you will need to get mounting brackets as well, but you'll need to start with extended, compressed, and PSI information.
Q:
I need to replace a pair of SL34-100-1. Which units are compatible?
A:
SL34 indicates the 20" extended, 12" compressed size and the 100 is the pressure, since this isn't a normal one they stock, we can special order it for you. Please call in to arrange special order with us.
