Im a bit confused if this is what i need. My 150 has only one steering cable tube and i want two. Does this allow me to have dual steering? Is this and adapter to add the second cable?

Yes, this is the adapter that will convert single steering to dual steering.

Will this work on my Mercury 1988 150HP serial?

Our files do verify that this should work for a 150 1988 Mercury model.
Q:
Is this the replacement for a skeeter starfire boat with a mercury 175 tube that the steering cable goes through the one one I had the nut on steering cables threaded on to it this one doesn't have threads?

This fits essentially all Mercury's after 1980. It's not an OEM part, but this should fit. This work with Mercury's steering arm. This is not the steering cable. If you have further questions contact us at the number at the top of the page.

Will this work in my 1976 Johnson 200HP?

No this fits Yamaha 115-220 HP 1984 and newer.
Q:
1987 Yamaha 150 will this fit?? I have two cables that operate together. Would i need two or just the one?
A:
You need just one. This is for a dual cable, but single engine set up.
Q:
I have a 225HP Evinrude 2007 E-tec engine. What is the replacement for adapter to connect to have the dual steering? Currently only has one cable tube on motor.?

We do not have a kit for the 225 HP. You will need to check with Evinrude.
