All the right parts. Need to include a picture of it assembled. The book was pretty much a waste on this repair. My pump had a total melt down so it was pretty much a guess putting it back together. It worked out perfect and we made it to the lake.

the kit was right in that all the gaskets and plates fit but the impeller had a different style key and would not slide down on the shaft,nowhere in the discription of the product did I find any info to tell me this. the delivery time and price was fine but a litleore iifo woul bepful

I bought this for a 1990 Evinrude 25hp 2 stroke. It fit great. All the gaskets were there. Which surprised me usually they are missing at least one.

I received the Water pump repair kit in a timely delivery. After blowing compressed air thru the water tube and pee-tube, I installed the kit as described in the SELOC Evinrude Repair Manual. On completion I attached the water muffs to the water intake, turned on the water and started the engine. There was no water coming from the pee-tube so I shut the motor off. After again disassembling the lower unit I found both the impeller and housing melted after about a 30 second run. Having three boats of various sizes I have replaced several impellers over the years and never experienced this problem before. Is there something I am missing?

iBoats' fulfillment of the order was outstanding, and the kit worked exactly as expected. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I wish the kit contained step-by-step instructions for the water pump rebuild so I didn't have to buy the shop manual to perform the work.

I found my impeller to be toast and had a weekend fishing trip planned. I ordered the kit on Monday and got it on Tuesday as promised. The water pump repair kit was well made, all parts were there and wa priced well. Highly recommended.

This kit was fantastic and worked great on my motor. It included everything I needed. Sure, it is twice the price of just the impeller, but getting the cup and plate assures maximum pumping and new screws are always welcomed since stainless is so soft and the heads are easy to strip. After 37 years my plate and cup did show signs of wear and replacing the seals really is a good idea. This also upgrades to the "wedge" style impeller drive rather than the old "pin" style, a welcomed improvement in terms of putting it back together. *****The housing on this kit is a revised design that uses fins at the top where the drive shaft comes through instead of lip seals like the original part. It IS correct I had to go to another site to verify this as there is no mention of the change on iBoats that I have found. For someone that is careful and compares the new parts to old parts for proper fitment this could really drive you crazy until you find the answer.*****

The original water pump has 3 rubber grommets; the pump kit I received has only one of these; the other grommet in your kit does not fit my pump. I double-checked and verified I did order the correct kit for this outboard motor; however, it appears to be the wrong kit! Left a message for customer service to call me- no call. Worked great this one is hard to get to or replace did it once with 3 fin propeller and o ring. Had to replace again in 6 months this kit worked great easy to install and it pumps water out better, it also was a good price very satisfied Thanks

Only thing missing was the gasket material needed for the gasket. Other then that great product!

Product worked out great.But I wish it came with instructions on which spacer you use on the shaft.I had to take apart lower unit twice in order to put proper spacer in it.Also the o ring was abit oversize,but I held it in with some gasket maker.Other then that it worked out great.

The product is good and had all the parts needed for the job. An improvement would be to include a tube of the recommended Evinrude gasket sealer, or a sheet with directions and some equivalent products. My near miss was because someone installed an older model lower unit on my motor. Everything fit except the impeller. I had to order a separate impeller with a steel key slot to fit the older model drive shaft.

I have not installed the water pump yet because I was called out of town to work. The water pump was shipped and received very quickly, excellent job on your part. I am hopeful that I ordered the right part because there were two different water pumps for this motor.

A simple sheet of instructions or an illustration (picture) of where the parts assemble would have been beneficial. But, if you know what goes where and how to assemble this kit has what you need.

Water pump delivered day before vacation. At the lake the next day. Almost hugged the UPS guy.

Perfect replacement part

Order was received promptly, but poor quality control: The impeller in this kit did not have a recess for the driveshaft O-ring as the original water pump did, no space to install the o-ring included with the kit. I was baffled until I opened the other box for a 120 HP water pump that I also ordered found an instruction sheet in that kit that explained no o-ring on some of the earlier kits. The SS pump can had a dinged corner that would have ripped up the new impeller in short order. Had to be straightened filed smooth.

O-rings Impeller,and gasket worked. The Stainless flat plate, Stainless Impeller cup, And top housing did not work at all. The Impeller was thicker than the new housing. And the Stainless cup was thinner than the housing. Someone Definitely didn't know what they were doing when putting this repair kit together.

This is a good, complete kit that pumps water vary well. No sealant / RTV included. NO INSTRUCTIONS. I'm lucky I found a YouTube video that shows installation procedure. Good Luck!

Easy to install after you figure out where the extra o ring goes. If it came with instructions would be a breeze.

Listing did not specify that the kit was for a 2 stroke outboard and not a 4 stroke.

This package obviously had ben opened prior to arrival at my house.No parts list in box and 1 grommit and 1 o ring missing---I went to the hardware store and was able to get what I needed to finish , so that is part of the reason I didn't return kit, as I am anxious to start fishing NOW, not a week or 2 later.

Directions would have been great, but other than that, shipped fast and worked perfectly.

All the parts were there but there were no instructions on assembly. Just a note saying that an "o" ring is required under the impeller. I won't order this kit again.

Not impressed. unit would not prime and pump water- removed and re-installed 5 times to make sure no other issues with my 120-V4, finally had OMC factory trained mechanic with 40yrs experience tell me that he had used sierra parts when originals not available -50% failure with 6 months of installation on impellers -OMC unit went in and worked perfect 1st time - lesson learned!! Save money on the unimportant parts- 10 days of missed fishing sucks!!

There isn't much to say, the kit has everything you need to rebuild your water pump. Just follow the directions.......I forgot, there are no directions but all the parts are there. If you need directions you should not be doing this repair by you self.

i have been trying to find schematics and or diagrams exploded so i can search for parts but no luck on your site as of yet am i missing something. Thank you all, parts worked well and up and running on the lake again, you guys are great. Thanks again Scott Foster

Kit had the wrong o ring i called customer service, the lady told me it was the right one. There's no way it would a fit. Totally different. I got the o ring from boat. Net problem solved.

Completed installation today 7/3/11. No problems with installation and water pump worked perfect during our first two test runs.

Shipment arrived on time and parts were easy to find on the site.

The only thing we had an issue with was the little white wedge thing, we ended up using some E-6000 glue to hold it to the bar, so it would stay put while we slid the housing unit down onto it. We were able to fix the boat in less than an hour once we had the kit. THANK YOU!! iBoats saved us $45 on parts cost and who knows how much on labor.

i have not had any problems with I boat but a friend of mine purchased a drive shaft from I boat and you sent the wrong size shaft and will not except it back because it was sent back in a altered box , you should be willing to make it right what ever it takes , I under stand that I don't purchase a lot but if you don't make it right I will not purchase anything else from your company, my friends name is Mike Parrish form Indiana. The pump repair kit was good and all but the seal was wrong, had to get one from somewhere else. a new housing was sent to replace the seal. that was a vary good thing, i was really happy with you. but when the housing arrived it was wrong also. when i contacted customer service they told me there was nothing they could do, because i didnt pay for the housing. i understand that, but in the long run you never fixed the first problem. and cost me 3 times as much and 3.5 extra weeks of not being on the water!

I had to buy a full kit just to get the smaller gasket. would be nice to be able to buy this gasket Separately.

I wasn't interested in trying to find a shop that worked on outboards and I was feeling adventurous so I ordered this kit. Everything I needed to replace the water pump on my 1963 10hp Johnson. I ordered it before I took the lower unit off because I wanted to have everything I might need. I didn't end up using all the parts, but the ones I did use were perfect replacements. Btw, it was pretty straight forward and easy, lots of guides on the Internet so you know what you are getting into.
