Mercruiser Sterndrive I/I-R/MR/Alpha One Drive Shaft Housing Components Exploded View

Ordered for my 1990 Alpha One Mercruiser outdrive to replace the aging original bearings. They were correct and worked just fine.

Well I'm located in canada and there's not a hole lot around here unless you are alright with paying triple the price, so I started searching and found iboats where they have charts to help find what you need, along with great prices and good quality parts and let's not forget the best customer service I have ever delt with, well this is a review for this kit lol and as I said there great quality parts so i well deffintly be buying off of iboats aging in the future and they can count on me to spread the word here in canada thanks again iboats.

All seals of good manufacture. Small lower shaft oil seal is rubber encased - different than my original metal ringed but installs just the same. Changed that same seal without removing upper half of drive from the boat (must remove lower drive and water tube guide - gasket included in kit). Used a small PILOT BEARING PULLER, a couple of pliers and a hammer to easily remove.

This seal kit isn't as hard to put in as you think, buy the spanner wrench, read a manual, and it's going to be just fine. I did the upper in 1.5 hours and it pressure tested perfect.

This kit has all of the seals needed, even the ones I didn't think I needed. Worked out very well.

It contains everything that i needed to rebiuld the upper part of the leg. All the gaskets o-rings and bearings that need to come apart to change the gears are included

Used to replace the 7/8 frost plug on a mercruiser pre-alpha. Item fit perfectly. Same or better than OEM.

An excellent replacement to worn OEM parts. After years of routine service on my lower unit, the OEM drain plug became worn and hard to take off and put back on. This part assembly was a perfect fit for my Merc 225 EFI.

I always replace the drain plug when servicing the unit.

Either the picture for this product is misleading, or there was a piece missing from the order. The picture shows a plug with a gasket however, only the plug was sent (no gasket). Two emails to the customer service area regarding this went unanswered.

These plugs are a great replacement for the factory plugs. I will always keep a pair in the toolbox.

This does what it is supposed to do and that is stop the oil from coming out when in place and allow it to flow out when removed. Seems to work well!

I lost my plug when winterizing, and found this one for cheaper than even ebay, exactly what I needed

Had a leaky drive shaft seal and opted to fix it myself. Had no problem locating the right part, and it wasn't too difficult to install and save some bucks!
