This was what the parts manual says my boat suppose to have. I have to make sure it sits straight before I tighhten the cone nut. So far no problem.

wrong item even though I gave you the serial of motor and you got the prop right. Go to another site, these guys can't get it right.

This prop nut kit is a good deal if you need a new castle nut, spacer and cotter pin. I basically wanted to start over fresh and all new with my new prop.

i only have one problem with this and that is the plastic washer. With the prop i recieved, there is not enough room for the washer and still get the nut tight enough for the cotter pin.

I purchased a prop and was not sure I needed any other parts. But, I order the Prop Nut Kit anyway! My sales person, Kit Kimball, was extremely helpful and I was delighted that she went the extra mile to answer my question and get info form the prop manufacture while I was waiting on hold. The attitude and help in my fustration was wonderful. Thanks for being there when I needed you!

ordered wrong product. did not know til after I had package tore open and they would not take back, according to paperwork.

I ordered the above kit, using the model year and model number off the motor plate. The nut and thrust washer are for a larger diameter prop shaft. I called I Boats and was given an 800 # to call for the correct one. That source claims to not carry parts for the 1983 model year. I should have been told that at the point of ordering. No idea where to turn now.

The propeller nut kit that came with my prop was the wrong one. I was lucky enough to be able to use the old parts to put the prop on. Unfortunately I had to pay freight to return the item back to Iboats.com They made the mistake and they should of paid the freight by sending me prepaid return labels. They did not. Not sure I would buy from them again.

I bought this product thinking it would fit my Alpha 1 Generation 2 stern drive however I needed a larger size. I haven't taken it out of the package so I gave it a neutral rating of 3 just on the looks and feel.

Simple and EZ to order on line. Fast shipping and the tab washer is a perfect fit for my 1986 Mercury 45HP.

They were just like the original and it was cheaper to buy the pack of 10 from Iboats than to buy two from the dealer. Now I have some spares for the other times I change out a prop.

I was sent the wrong propeller and returned it. I received the correct prop. a couple days ago. In my attempt to install the new Prop. I encountered another problem with your parts ie propeller spacer p/n 18-4213 - sierra. the spacer slots would not fit the propeller cone 18-4210 you sent me in order 2287610 on 7/08/14. I have a spare spacer which I used for the new prop installation, however I don't understand how your logistics and commonality of parts works. Try fitting these two parts together, then write me a product review. Respectfully yours,

I have always used aluminum propellers but had issues with my takeoff speed. My prop would cavitate and it would take forever to get up on plane and go anywhere. I tried the 4 blade Stainless Steel prop and if my boat had tires it would spin them. My takeoff is quick and I am gone in a fraction of the time I use to take with the aluminum prop. I am very satisfied and it was well worth the price.

I was not sure what propeller and nut I needed for a 1973 Mercury 650 after loosing them. Called in and their support was very knowledgeable and helpful. When the parts arrived, they were a perfect fit.

Easy replacement, in fact I took the existing lock tab off of the prop and replaced it with one of these because these have the easy lifting loops. Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

this product was no match for my old motor prop..it was way to big...returned and cost returned. I still neeed a prop nut for my unit,the owner before me was using a cotter pin only..that looks a bit scary...oops! there goes the prop,pull out the oars!

A must have when replacing a prop

This was "suggested" when I ordered my prop, of course it's the wrong size so they got me for a few bucks for something I cannot use.

I purchased this nut along with a new propeller and it fit and looks great.

This kit is a must if you take off an old prop. Plus, I'd recommend carrying a spare kit on the boat in case of an emergency - keep a spare prop with you also.

Replaced the stock one with this because the stainless steel prop wouldn't spin without hitting the old one. Reused the existing screw since this didn't come with a new one "it doesn't say screw is included, but I thought I read a review stating the screw it came with was to long or short". Happy with the purchase.

I am sure the quality of the product is fine. I was shipped the wrong part and I am still waiting for RA# since first contact on 5/21/12. I was contacted by email on 5/22/12 by Mike Ext.171 to tell me I would have RA# in 2-3 days. After not hearing anything I reply emailed Mike on 5/28/12 to again ask for RA#, but to date have still not heard back. This is quite unusual for iBoat service. Hope I hear back soon. I have since ordered and received the correct part from iBoat.

Motor died, replaced motor, did not use item

What can I say, they are Cotter Pins.

The nut you sent was the wrong size. Needed to be a 1" NOT a 1-1/16" so the washer was wrong also Propeller looks OK Haven't tried it yet.

I WENT THROUGH THE WEB SITE PROCESS TO ORDER THE PROP I NEEDED AND IT AUTOMATICLY OFFERED ME THE OPTION OF BUYING THE PROP NUT AND OTHER ACCESSORIES THAT GO WITH THE PROP. EVERYTHING ELSE WORKED BEAUTIFULY BUT THE PROP NUT WAS TOO LARGE. SINCE IT COULDN'T BE RETURNED IF OPENED I JUST USED THE OLD NUT AND TOSSED THE NEW ONE.

The wrong part was ordered. I had to reorder an OEM line cutter from Iboats. I was reimbursed and all is good.

After further discussion with a separate iboats salesman, I found out this wasn't the right protector for my boat. I subsequently ordered the correct one and returned this one.

Everyone should have one on board for changing to their spare prop.

I was slightly dissapointed in the wrench. It must be held at exactly a 90 degree angle to keep it from slipping off the nut and stripping the plastic. This doesn't sound too hard to do but if one hand is holding the prop, you only have one hand to hold the wrench and the wrench tended to slip off the nut and the plastic on the wrench rounded off. I still got the nut off and back on, but the I don't think the plastic wrench will hold up to very many repititions.

I was un-aware it was made of plastic. Had I known I would have never ordered it. Piece of junk , do you want it back?

The overall quality and lightweight design I thought was top notch. But it did not fit the prop nut on my boat motor due to the fact that I use inexpensive castle nuts from Ace Hrdwr. These cheaper castle nuts are of a different size than what the iboats catalog called for on my motor. If I could have chosen the size wrench I wanted rather than choose according to what motor I have, I would still have the wrench, I would have gotten the size I needed.

What's to say, just replacement cotter pins. They fit...

I ordered cotter pins with my new prop and hub kit and when I unpacked my package, I totally forgot about the cotter pins and recycled the box, cotter pins and paper insulation in all. In the future, I would suggest that you tape smaller parts to larger boxes so dummies like me won't toss them out.
