Built from a marine quality aluminum alloy. Large diameter dual loop heat exchanger is standard. 120V 1500 watt heater element. Marine UL listed. The high temp limiter with manual reset is at the circuit breaker panel, not inside the heater itself.

Bought this water heater to replace an old Seaward. After spending 3 hours installing new plumbing and wiring (this is in a boat where working space is extremely limited) and bleeding the air out of the heat exchanger lines, I found that the heater leaked badly somewhere inside the housing. I did notice the QA sticker on the unit and swore mightily that some jackoff didn't check the unit for leaking. Buyer beware.
