With the help of iboats I was able to troubleshoot the engine and order the parts needed for repair.

I ordered this powerpack for about 200 less than at a store it was shipped promptly and I recieved it sooner than it said it would come. I am happy.

Used on a 70 hp Evinrude that was exhibiting intermittent ignition spark. Once replaced the motor started right up and ran great. Very satisfied with service and part quality.

Replaced a bad power pack on my 15 hp Evinrude, has weak spark in the top cylinder. Runs like a champ now.

Seriously! As the bottom cylinder of my Johnson 25 Hp was not firing correctly, this product did indeed double my horsepower. Direct replacement for the stock part. Worked as expected.

The mechanic who installed the power pack told me he had to cut the wires and create a new harness because it wasn't designed like the original one on the engine. Luckily he didn't charge me for the .5 hours it took to build the new harness. But, it seems to be doing it's job now that it's installed.

The website is easy to use and the powerpak CD showed up lightning fast. The motor runs on both cylinders now and is back to it's normal self. Of course one has to replace the right part so diagnosis of the problem is very important. Now I can go fishing. many thanks, Burt Lade Bemidji, Mn.

Power pack came and it shorted out right away called to return under warranty, iboats told me to contact sierra for warranty, sierra told me to contact iboats. I was on the phone back and forth on hold about 3 hours they told me send the part in and they will return. Well I really wanted my boat for the fourth of july so I asked the person from iboats if I could just purchase one and have them refund my money when they get the old one, everything was all set up including me paying for next day shipping. That was tuesday it is now monday still no sign. Iam that nobody seems concerned and nobody is accountable. Ruined a long weekend with my family I will never get back!

The part came quickly but I have not had a chance to change it yet.

The price was the best I could find. Even with shipping it was $35 under our local marine supply. It was pretty easy to cross reference, but I still called and got excellent service to validate I was buying the right part. The power module came when i was told to expect it, was a direct replacement and has worked well.

You won't find higher quality parts, lower pricing, or faster shipping than "iboats.com".......period! I have bought from other online sellers and been sorry. Never again will i buy marine parts from anyone but iboats. Learn from my past experiences and don't waste your money with any other marine parts dealer!

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating was because of the change made by Sierra in the stop circuit connection. You need to change the connector on the power pack with the connector on your old pack, for it to fit in it's required space. Other than that, the pack worked perfectly, and I have good spark on all 4 cylinders. The delivery and sevice from Iboats gets a 5 star rating!!!

I would like to know if I can return the power pak as it is not needed I blew a powerhead....and need whole motor....still in box never installed...

Engine runs better and has more power

The power pack was fine, however, the wiring has been altered on my engine and I returned the unit. The problem I have is with your returns. I sent the unit backs weeks ago, did a trace on the unit to make sure you received it, yet when I called I was informed that the unit had to be tested and it could take several more weeks before I could get a refund. Still haven't heard from you.

The Sierra power pack #18-5794 I bought from iboats on 3/6/2012 was double firing. Cost me $600.00 in parts,mechanic fees and a lot of time and frustration to find that out. Thanks iboats for "Saving" me all that money with your great "Parts sale". I'm on SSI and food stamps due to heart problems, and it will take me a year to pay off the unexpected debt that your part has cost me!

my father possibly burned up the previous cdi with incorrect battery polarity. only three cylinders had fire. bought this cdi. boat fired up immediately. runs great.

I contacted iBoats to order a power pack and an optical sensor. My sales rep put me on hold and called Sierra (the supplier) to ensure that I would receive the correct parts the first time. I was impressed with the time that he took to take care of me. His name was Spencer Daniels. He will take great care of you.

Works well, it's pretty much a direct replacement, however the optical sensor wire was a tad short and required some modification. Boat is running like new and satisfied.

Junk...Plugged in new power pack, engine backfired worse than it did with original unit. Wasted my money and energy.

Took an educated guess the power pack was going out. I reviewed pack on line and found it a little cheaper price at other store but shipping was 7 to 10 days. I needed it now so for a little more from iboats, i ordered. Part was here in two days and i was back on the water. So far so good. Will use vendor again.
