Defective

Appears to be well-constructed, but looks were deceiving. I have a permanently installed belly tank, and spent hours removing the old fuel line and installing the new one. When completed, I learned that the check valve(s) in the bulb are defective, and it will not pump fuel. Refusing to repeat all the contortions necessary to re-run the fuel line, I cut out the new Moeller bulb, and re-installed the old Tempo bulb. At least, it now works, but I'm really disappointed in having spent $60.00 for 12 ft. of B1 fuel line.

Is there 6' on each side of the bulb or how is it setup?
A:
Yes it is 12 feet overall. Half on one side of the bulb and the other half on the other end.
