I have a 3.0 liter 1992 omc cobra engine where my exhaust manifold is leaking. This product appears to fit my motor but the part number on the current manifold reads 986984. Will this product still work on my engine?

Not sure what the 986984 number is, it may be a casting number, but yes this will work with your application.
