I need just the back to replace a broken back ion one of my seats. Can I buy just a back either from you or direct from Garelick?

The back is not available at all separately.
Q:
When folded forward, is the seat designed to be sat on for higher positioning?
A:
That's not what they are designed to do. Cushions absorb the weight. On the back of the seat is the molded plastic and no cushion in between. It's not meant to be sit on like that. You might be able to sit on it, but there's no weight rating for sitting on the back of the fold down seat.
