color dosen't match display

The seats are made really well with a plaqstic base that will not rot. However the color shown for the charcoal seats looks black but when I received them they were closer to gray. There is already A gray seat in the color chart to select from so why show a black looking color insted of the actual color. The seats were not as light in color as the gray seats in the color chart ether.
