Mercury Lower Unit Seal Kits

This seal kit contains every part you need to reseal your lower unit. It is very easy and a good idea to account for each new part against the old parts you're removing. That way you know you haven't overlooked anything. I Boats price for this OEM parts kit is about half of a dealers price if they happen to have one.

Call center "Adam" @ Ext:106 did a great job finding the right parts I needed to have the mechanic rebuild the lower end seals. Motor is not easy to find parts for except thru IBoats.

Does not appear to be all seals needed

The seal for the gear shift shaft appears to be the same outside diameter as the Mercruiser part, but when you press it into the gearshift bushing, it cracks the plastic bushing housing. Then you have to buy a new bushing housing to replace the old. When checked with a micrometer, the seal in the kit is just slightly larger than the Mercruiser part. In addition the new seal is metal, while the Mercruiser part was encased in rubber, giving it a little more "give" when pressed in place.

Your Product is good. What happened to Parts Finder? It was a very useful tool for me. I asked for a part and it asked what it was for, make, model, year, serial number, horse power, etc. I had to go to another parts place online to get parts for my Evenrude. I needed coils and points. I couldn't figure out your complicated ordering process. Looking forward to doing business with you again, if I can figure out how to order parts. Thank you. Did not come with exhaust seal as pictured in add. I have requested the seal by part number but it seems you need a bar code which I do not have. You already have my order number and package part# 18-2653. The exhaust seal is pictured in your pictured add. Please send the exhaust seal ASAP. That seal is needed to complete rebuild which now I'm behind in the rebuild process. Thank YOU, Richard

All the seals are in here and some other for other drives keep those incase you find and old boat motor that no one wants to fix and fix it with your spares.

I got this kit in 2 days and saved $50.. I have iboat saved in my favorites and use it all the time now.

Speedy delivery to Canada, Parts I needed all included with kit. cost 25% of what local dealer 40 km away wanted, mailed right to me Yay! Should of used a bit bigger socket to install seals but other wise smooth install.

I just there was some directions on re-building the lower gear unit.

This kit contained everything I needed to re-seal my '74 Merc 650 lower unit. seals look decent and perform well. Good Stuff.
