- Works with either the SH5210P standard, or the SH5230P NFB backmount helms
- Will not work with older SH5097/5098 helms

Q:
The cable I have has no markings on it so I want to order a new steering system but I'm not sure how to measure the old cable for length. What two points do I measure between on the old cable?
A:
You measure black to black (the cable only). For Rack and Pinion steering you add 30 inches. For Rotary steering you add 18 inches.
