4" Blower. Patented in-line design - provides ventilation for engine compartments, galleys, bilges, and heads. Mounting feet allow vertical or horizontal installation in confined spaces. Install with #10 fasteners. Individual carton includes 2 tie straps. All are CE certified. 16-gauge, tinned and caulked copper wire leads with optional MP1 molded rubber connectors. New improved design includes:

  • Nickel-plated motor can for corrosion resistance
  • Stiffening ribs to reduce housing distortion
  • Motor cap to seal wires and motor for water resistance

Only worth 3 stars due to the fact that in the discription (and I copy and paste) "Individual carton includes 2 tie straps." Not that I don't have tie straps, but when an item arrives (in very quick order I will add) and you head to the marina to install said item and you know you have everything you need..........CRAP.......no tie straps. CRAP again, my stash here at the boat is depleted. Got to run home and grab some. One more thing, (again I copy and paste) the "optional MP1 molded rubber connectors" are no where to be found. Beware, the only thing "in the box" is what you see in the pic plus a warning sticker explaining to run blower for 4 min before starting (not copy and paste)

Does this blower have a brushless motor? The last thing I would want to have is a bilge motor igniting fumes when it is switched on.?
A:
Manufacturer confirms they are not brushless, it is ignition protected. The whole design of the blower is to rid those fumes in the back of your boat.
