YAMAHA HARDWARE KIT 60-90HP 17034501 - Solas

I have owned Solas props before and they are very well made. The problem is knowing what hub kit to buy. I have a new Yamaha with a Quicksikver 4 blade prop and I got 2 different answers from customer service. One said my thrust washer would work the other said it wouldn't. I tried it without the kit first then I had to spend another $35.70 to make it work. Not a huge deal, just a little frustrating. I would have just purchased another Quicksilver prop had I known this which came with a hub kit. Iboats did wave the shipping cost on the hub kit. All in all I am happy with the purchase and will purchase from Iboats again.

The cotter pins are a little light but the rest of the kit is good.

Hardware fine. But, wish catalog would be more specific in stating this kit is MANDATORY when buying a Solas prop for my Yamaha. I would not have purchased prop if this was made clear.
